The Wilson Lab 

Jake is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and completed his B.S. in the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During his undergraduate career, Jake worked under Dr. David Zaharoff, researching cancer immunotherapies and hapten-carrier conjugate vaccines. In Dr. Wilson's lab, Jake works on polymeric vesicle drug delivery systems for the immunomodulation of cancer and infectious disease. In his free time, Jake enjoys fantasy football, exploring Nashville, and hanging out with his cat, Doris.
